Best Walking Trails & Routes in Elk Ridge

This walk goes through 3 neighborhood parks, two with playgrounds. Round trip It’s just over a 5k.The path gently slopes up and down through quiet shady areas as well as open sunny spots, with a couple of short steeper slopes.

This is Payson City’s Gold Metal Mile. It’s a gentle walk with three playgrounds. I do it often with grandkids, but as you can imagine it takes more than my usual 20 minutes as we take advantage of every playground. If I’m in a hurry one day I’ll do this walk for a quick workout. Great for a wheelchair, except going under the road. It’s steep there, but you can go around
