Best Walking Trails & Routes in Stallings

Path is paved and a creek runs beside most of it. Mostly shaded. Would recommend parking at alternate entrance as John Street is busy and limited. Squirrel Lake Park is great spot for kids to play too and there’s bathrooms there as well. Fountain Rock Park is pretty neat to touch, see and hear - I walked the extra half mile to Brenham and back and ultimately turned around at the final fork toward the end - however, there are trail maps all over the place and many options for making your own delightful stroll here depending on where you start and how much you want to walk, enjoy!

Entrance on John street is stroller & handicap accessible entrance behind a Matthews Elementary is not. This is a friendly greenway. Expect lots of “good morning” greetings
