a nice walk aside a beautiful lake!!

Parking is available outside the gate as well as inside during open hours. It’s a level walk around the edge of the park and small sandy beach on the lake. Views of the lake are beautiful and calming. An easy short walk for all family members to enjoy.

The walk started in the parking lot. Walking over the snow covered grass and the snow covered sandy beach leads one the the edge of the lake. The lake water is frozen along the edge which makes for a level easy walk. A light crusty snow cover makes it nonslippery. Quiet and chilly it was a brisk winter walk.
