基尔蒂马飞往巴利格拉斯环路

Starting at the historic Market Square head along the Balle road past the timeless pubs and old stone buildings, the church to one’s left with the old convent school opposite and walk out of town to the graveyard. Opposite the graveyard is a marker post for the walking route. Follow along the road with fields either side to a fork in the road. Go straight on to a less used road. Come to the next post and follow to the road. Keep following the marker posts and go across the old railway line. Carry on to the road to the old railway station, now a museum. Turn left on the Knock road and back to the Market Square and refreshment in the Cill Aodain Hotel bar or O’Hora’s or Ryan’s or the Tavern. Take your pick . Peaceful walk along old little used bog roads but well maintained and signposted.
