The path begins at the southern tip of Lake Horton Park and winds around the perimeter of the park, providing views of the lake and wooded areas. The path is uneven in places and there are are a couple of moderately steep inclines. Including the spur off the north loop, the total distance from start to finish is 2.75 miles.
