A beautiful walk through Charleswood. Lots of trees showing the colours of Fall everywhere. You can get lost in the beautiful views surrounding you even with the busy noise of the traffic going by down Roblin Blvd. Better yet listen to your favourite music while you walk it’s a great distraction. I find it helps me to keep going. Plus I have my companion Sasha (dog) who walks with me. Great area to take your dogs for a walk. So many beautiful homes and areas to walk down. I chose Jaymore Drive for part of our walk. It’s just off Roblin heading towards the Moray Bridge as some know it or now known as the William Clement Bridge further up. Jaymore has a long winding road that leads up and around to Ridgedale ends back at Roblin Blvd. It’s peaceful to walk down. Cuts out the sound of the traffic. I find it to be one of the prettiest areas of Charleswood. Gorgeous homes along the Assiniboine River. One of my favourite places to walk through. If you’re in the area certainly check it out. So worth it! Sometimes you will see deers walking around near the homes and along the roads. If you want the feel of the country, but within the city the Charleswood area is a perfect place to start. Walk further in the opposite direction and you’ll find the Assiniboine Forest trails just off of Grant Ave not far from the Charleswood Centre which is off of Roblin. Also the Harte Trail too Today we didn’t walk the Harte Trail another beautiful feature of Charleswood. Just thought I’d add some mentions of places closer by which I’ve walked and shared within my other routes here. Check them out.
