Villa Erba is a 19th-century villa in Cernobbio, on the shores of Lake Como, Italy. It was built by Luigi Erba, brother of the prominent businessman Carlo Erba (founder of the first Italian pharmaceutical company), to show off his wealth.After the death of Luigi Erba, the villa was inherited by his daughter Carla and was used by members of Carla's family, including her son Luchino Visconti.
