Vom Hauptbahnhof geht’s zuerst auf der rechten Seite über die Seebrücke zum Schwanenplatz. Dort startet der Quai Richtung Verkehrshaus der Schweiz. Am Anfang der Route ist viel Betrieb, es sind u.a. auch viele Touristen unterwegs. Die Abwechslung ist gross, es wird nicht langweilig. Die Sicht auf Berge und den See ist phantastisch. Nach einigen paar Hundert Meter wird es ruhiger, die Spaziergänger sind unter sich. Unterwegs gibt es immer wieder sehr gepflegte Pärke zum verweilen, mit diversen schönen Kunstdenkmäler. Beim Verkehrshaus kann man diverse Museen besuchen, je nach Zeit und Interesse. Bei der Seeburg lohnt sich bei schönem Wetter eine Rast bei der Sunset-Bar. Danach geht’s zu Fuss oder per ÖV zum Ausgangspunkt zurück.

Church of St. Leodegar (Lucerne)

The Church of St. Leodegar (German: St. Leodegar im Hof or Hofkirche St. Leodegar) is a Roman Catholic church in the city of Lucerne, Switzerland. It was built in parts from 1633 to 1639 on the foundation of the Roman basilica which had burnt in 1633. This church was one of the few built north of the Alps during the Thirty Years War and one of the largest art history rich churches of the German late renaissance period.
