Beim Bahnhof Luzern geht man zum Europaplatz beim KKL. Dort geht man zum Inseli hinter dem Buspark. Dann folgt man der Rampe hinauf zum Alpenquai. Man geniesst die schöne Sicht auf den See und die Berge. Dann geht’s zur „Ufschötti“. Dort geniesst Jung und Alt den Strand und den See. Man kann dort auch gleich schwimmen und sonnenbaden. Weiter geht’s über die Brücke zum Vogelparadies. Besonders im Frühjahr und Sommer kann man die brütenden Schwäne und Vögel beobachten. Ein Paradies mitten in der Neustadt. Weiter nimmt man den Weg am Segelboots-Hafen vorbei bis zum Bootshaus. Dort führt der Pfad hinauf zum Richard Wagner Museum. Beim Sommercafé macht man bei Bedarf einen Halt und geht eventuell auch gleich ins Museum. Anschliessend folgt man dem See entlang bis zur Tribschen-Badi und dem Sportplatz entlang zur Wartegg. Dort nimmt man den ÖV zum Ausgangspunkt zurück. Der gesamte Weg ist sehr hundefreundlich.
