East Belfast

Ormeau Park is the oldest municipal park in Belfast, Northern Ireland, having been officially opened to the public in 1871. It is owned and run by Belfast City Council and is one of the largest and busiest parks in the city and contains a variety of horticulture, woodland, wildlife and sporting facilities.

The Battle of St Matthew's or Battle of Short Strand was a gun battle that took place on the night of 27–28 June 1970 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was fought between the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) and Ulster loyalists in the area around St Matthew's Roman Catholic church. This lies at the edge of the Short Strand, a Catholic enclave in a mainly-Protestant part of the city.

Ballyhackamore (Irish: Baile an Chacamair, meaning "townland of the slob land or mud flat") is a townland in County Down, Northern Ireland, it is a suburb of Belfast located on the Upper Newtownards Road. It is also a ward in the UK Parliamentary constituency of East Belfast.The Sunday Times named Ballyhackamore the Brunch Capital of Belfast in a 2018 article on the Best Places to live in Britain.

The Albert Bridge is a bridge in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Its three flat arches span the River Lagan and it is one of eight bridges in the city. It was completed in 1890 by Belfast city surveyor J C Bretland after two arches of the previous bridge suddenly collapsed in 1886. It is located close to the city centre between East Bridge Street and the Albert Bridge Road.

The A55 road forms Belfast's outer-ring road.

Ballymacarrett Junction was a railway switching point on the Belfast and County Down Railway in the Ballymacarrett area of Eastern Belfast, in modern-day Northern Ireland. It was located near the present-day Titanic Quarter railway station.

Castlereagh (from Irish: An Caisleán Riabhach, meaning "the grey castle") is a townland and former hamlet in the civil parish of Knockbreda, barony of Castlereagh Lower, in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is southeast of Belfast and now at the fringe of the city's suburbs. The townland has an area of 415 acres (168 ha).

Neill's Hill railway station is a disused railway station / halt on the main line of the Belfast and County Down Railway. It ran from Queen's Quay, Belfast south to Newcastle, County Down in Northern Ireland.When the Belfast and County Down Railway was open, Neill's Hill railway station was the 4th station from Queen's Quay, Belfast.

Castlereagh College was a further and higher education college in east Belfast. In 2007, it merged with the Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education to form part of the Belfast Metropolitan College.The site is home to 6 buildings in total with classrooms for different disciplines.

Forster Green Hospital (Irish: Ospidéal Forster Green) is a non-acute hospital located in Belfast, Northern Ireland, it offers a range of services including neurology, care of older people and a child and family centre. The hospital is located in a 47-acre site in South Belfast. It is managed by Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.
