The Brühl Palace (Polish: Pałac Brühla), otherwise known as Sandomierski Palace was a palace standing at Piłsudski Square. It was one of the largest palaces and one of the finest examples of rococo architecture in pre-World War II Warsaw.

Metro Świętokrzyska ([ɕfʲɛntɔˈkʂɨska]) is a station on Lines M1 and M2 of the Warsaw Metro, located under the crossing of Świętokrzyska and Marszałkowska streets in the borough of Śródmieście. The station on M1 was opened on 11 May 2001 as part of the extension of M1 north from Centrum to Ratusz. Świętokrzyska is used as a change-over between Lines M1 and M2.

Piłsudski Square (Polish: plac marsz. The Square is named for Marshal Józef Piłsudski who was instrumental in the restoration of Polish statehood after World War I.

The National Theatre (Teatr Narodowy) in Warsaw, Poland, was founded in 1765, during the Polish Enlightenment, by that country's last monarch, Stanisław August Poniatowski.
