New River Linear Trail Introduction

The trail runs for 3.4 miles within the city of Bluffton in SC.
The route,which is shared with power lines along abandoned Seaboard Air Line Railway corridor,begins in the north at the edge of the Sun City development and finally ends its straight course at the banks of the New River.
The grass trail is flat.The route passes through a beautiful landscape.In the North,a mixture of hardwood forest and swampy land,and further South,before the end of the path,on the New River, you can see the grid of channels abandoned rice fields
