Meander, skip or power-walk your way through this lovely hardwood forest! Most of trail is hard packed dirt and gravel suitable for walking, running or biking through tall trees and shaded pathways. Portions of trail are steeper but majority is easy going. Don’t be surprised if you glimpse a deer or startle a squirrel! Nature abounds here including several different types of wild backyard birds and various flowers! Walking this park is never the same trip twice, seasons change both the flora and fauna daily! Part of the Char-Meck Greenway system, additional trails can also be found at this park plus there are trails that continue to connect beyond the park property as well. Explore and be surprised by the beauty and serenity that never disappoints! Bordered by Charlotte Prep on one side and Charlotte Christian on another. There are bathrooms on site as well as playgrounds, ball fields, picnic tables and even a new Little Free Library where you can swap books for free! Enjoy and keep walking Pacers 🚶🏻‍♀️❤️🚶🏻
