Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi (abbreviated Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi or IIT (BHU) Varanasi) is a public engineering and research institution located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Founded in 1919 as the Banaras Engineering College, it became the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in 1968.

Faculty of Arts, Banaras Hindu University is a faculty in the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India which offers courses in History, Culture, Philosophy, Languages, Literature along with various Professional and Vocational courses. It was founded in 1898 and is the oldest and largest faculty in the Banaras Hindu University.

Faculty of Commerce, Banaras Hindu University, also known as Shri Thakur Ratan Pal Singh Faculty of Commerce or Commerce Faculty, is a faculty in the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India which offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses in Commerce. It was founded in 1940.

Technex is the annual techno-management festival of Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi held as a three-day event in late February or early March. The festival and its organising team hold a number of activities throughout the year, as well as several social initiatives to encourage novel technological solutions to major scientific challenges like resource shortages, climate change, and day-to-day problems.
