Taylor Creek is a 2.2-mile-long (3.5 km) northward-flowing stream originating in the Fallen Leaf Lake and culminating at Baldwin Beach at Lake Tahoe, about 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Camp Richardson in El Dorado County, California.

Camp Richardson is an unincorporated community at Lake Tahoe, in El Dorado County, California. It lies at an elevation of 6250 feet (1905 m) in the Sierra Nevada.A post office operated at Camp Richardson from 1927 to 1973, with a closure from 1964 to 1965. The place is named after its first postmaster, Alonzo L.

The Pope Estate is a historic home located in Camp Richardson, near South Lake Tahoe, California.The home was originally built by Lloyd Tevis, former president of Wells Fargo Bank, in the 1880s. The Tevis and Pope families used the home and grounds as a summer vacation spot. The grounds contain several servants cabins and the main dwelling is constructed entirely of wood and shingle-clad sidings.
