Start by walking through the beautiful grounds of the Countess of Chester Hospital then into the country park, good tarmac paths. Access the canal path which also has a tarmac path, cross knolls bridge to the redundant golf course and follow the outer most path all the way round until returning over Knolls bridge and back on the country park. Some of the path ways are broken up on the golf course but easy to follow, there are a few minor ups and downs along the way. Walk back through the country park and back through the hospital grounds.
