Hunting Island State Park

We start the route in South Beach, where there is parking, picnic tables, bathrooms and showers. We continue along Park Road, approximately 0.5 miles, to exit to North Beach. We continue along the beach until we see the lighthouse. We circled the lighthouse and returned by Maritime Forest Trail 1.5 miles, to exit by Marsh Boardwalk Trail towards the Lagoon. We continue on Lagoon Acces Recreation Trail, to the starting point. Localitation:Cross Santa Elena Island,along Highway 21 South,towards Hunting Island.You will find the park on the left hand side of the road. This is a wonderful place where the sea and the forest meet. Here you can do many things, from walking ,running or using the bike paths, kayaking,paddleboarding and fishing.
