Il percorso è impegnativo dal punto di vista atletico, sia per la lunghezza che per le salite, ma la fatica può essere spezzata da soste culturali, infatti, parte dal museo delle Fudine di Malegno, costeggia in quota il comune di Breno, prima di entrare a Losine.
