A trail of ups and downs. Start Church Stretton and immediate climb through wood. Quite demanding. Then drop to road level. Climb woods again to a high field, plateau, then descend to little Stretton. This is where my trail book went AWOL. Trail should go through caravan site and out through the back but the sign clearly states no public right if way so this meant taking a longer and much more savage incline route! Hard walking but no scrambling. Get to road and turn right past pole cottage and pick up pole bank walk to take you across to shooters. Then take the trail down through the steep valley to cardem mill and back to the start point
