Poprad-Matejovce

Poprad (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈpɔpɾat]; is a city in northern Slovakia at the foot of the High Tatra Mountains, famous for its picturesque historic centre and as a holiday resort. It is the biggest town of the Spiš region and the tenth largest city in Slovakia, with a population of approximately 50,000.

Poprad-Tatry railway station (Slovak: Železničná stanica Poprad-Tatry) is a break-of-gauge junction station serving the city of Poprad, in the Prešov Region, northeastern Slovakia.Opened in 1871, the station forms part of the standard gauge Košice–Bohumín Railway, and is the junction between that line and the Poprad-Tatry–Plaveč railway, a standard gauge branch line.

NTC Poprad football stadium (Slovak: Národné tréningové centrum Poprad) football stadium in Poprad, Slovakia. It serves as home stadium for football club FK Poprad and Slovak National Football youth teams. NTC is also used by football teams for camps and international matches. The stadium has a capacity of 5,700 (all seats).

Aréna Poprad is an indoor sporting arena located in Poprad, Slovakia. The arena was built in 2006. The capacity of the arena is 1,968 people. The 2010 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship for Women was the 27th edition of the FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship for Women. 16 teams featured the competition, held in Aréna Poprad, Poprad, Slovakia from July 25–August 8.

The Co-Cathedral of Our Lady of Sorrows (Slovak: Konkatedrála Sedembolestnej Panny Márie) is the main Roman Catholic church of the town of Poprad, Slovakia.

Poprad District (okres Poprad) is a district inthe Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia. The district had been established in 1923 and from 1996 exists in its current borders. It consists of 29 municipalities, from which three have a town status. Its seat, cultural and economic center is Poprad, the largest city.
