Carreg Cennen Castle (Welsh: Castell Carreg Cennen meaning castle (on the) rock (above the) Cennen) is a castle near the River Cennen, in the village of Trap, four miles south of Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire, Wales. The castle is within the Brecon Beacons National Park, and its location has been described as spectacular, due to its position above a limestone precipice.

Carreg Cennan is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in Carmarthenshire, Wales (Grid reference SN670191). The site consists of a 19.5-hectare (48-acre) strip of land surrounding a line of carboniferous limestone cliffs.The site includes the spectacular limestone cliffs topped by Carreg Cennen Castle, as well as broadleaved woodland and limestone grassland.

Llygad Llwchwr is a 1.2 km long cave system in the Black Mountain which forms the westernmost range of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales.The entrance to the cave system is 400m from the road alongside a public footpath, and just above and to the left of an obvious river resurgence. The cave contains a dry high level series and an active river level which is accessible at a number of river chambers separated by sumps.
