Upvan lake

Upvan (or Upavan) Lake is located in Thane in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is known for hosting the Sanskruti Arts Festival. It was founded and reconstructed by J.K. Singhania for water supply. Singhania also constructed the lord Ganesha's temple at Upvan lake. The lake is located near Gawand Baug, Shivai Nagar,Ganesh nagar, Vasant Vihar and Vartak nagar.

Tikuji-Ni-Wadi is an amusement park, water park, and a resort near Mumbai and at Thane. It is located at about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from Mumbai.The Water Park has pools and water slides. The amusement park includes go-karts, roller coasters, giant wheels and water park. Additionally, there is a Shiva temple and marriage halls as a part of the resort.

Dayanand Anglo-Vedic Public School is a private school in Thane, Maharashtra, India. The school was founded in 1995 at Balkum, Thane, but was moved to Tulsidham in 2004. It is one of a number of schools run by the Dayanand Anglo-Vedic College Trust and Management Society, and follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) pattern of education.
