The Rostov Zoo is one of the largest zoos in Russia, covering almost 90 hectares. Located in Rostov-on-Don, this zoo is home to over 5,000 animals, including very rare species such as the Amur Tiger.The zoo is a member of 38 programs involved in the conservation of endangered animals, and was one of the first zoos in Europe to breed white-tailed eagles.

Church of St. John of Kronstadt (Russian: Храм в честь святого праведного Иоанна Кронштадтского) is an Orthodox church in the city of Rostov-on-Don, Russia. It belongs to Rostov and Novocherkassk Diocese of Moscow Patriarchate. It was built in 2010 on the project of architect Genrikh Vasilyevich Ivanov.
