Introduction
Nature Trail behind Coopersmith Park- 0.60 Mi Route is a 0.6 mile (1,500-step) route located near West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA. This route has an elevation gain of about 45.9 ft and is rated as easy. Find the best walking trails near you in Pacer App.
This is a short, hidden trail buried behind an already hidden park. You will not find this little trail in any maps.
Be prepared for fallen trees and muddy patches.
How to find this trail:
From Coopersmith Park - look for the bridge at the far end of the little grassy area. Cross the bridge and immediately after the entrance to the trail is to your left.
From Goshen Terrace Apartments- there are at least three entrances to this trail from Goshen Terrace. The start and end locations of this route show two of them. The third is somewhere in the middle but not highlighted on this map.
Note that this trail looks like it should connect to the eastern edge of Coopersmith Park, which would make for an interesting little loop if combined with Coopersmith’s walking path. However, after much exploring I did not see any connection to Coopersmith on that end (there is a wide stream you would have to cross, and I did not see any easy crossings).
