Seodaemun Prison History Hall is a museum and former prison in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It was constructed beginning in 1907. The prison was opened on October 21, 1908, under the name Gyeongseong Gamok. During the early part of the Japanese colonial period it was known as Keijo Prison (Keijō Kangoku, the Japanese pronunciation of Gyeongseong Gamok).

Seodaemun Museum of Natural History is a first public museum of natural history in South Korea, located in a metropolitan area, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. It was founded in 2003 and operated by Seodaemun-gu Administration. The purpose of the foundation is to preserve, to study, and to exhibit geological and biological records about the local environment.

Hansung Science High School (한성과학고등학교, or simply 한성과학고 or 한성과고) is a high school (ages 15–18) in Seoul, Korea. Muakjae Station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 3 in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. The area was named Muakjae after Muhak, a Buddhist monk who played a vital role in moving the Korean capital to Seoul in the 14th century.
