Tirana

Rinia Park (literally "Youth Park", Albanian: Parku Rinia) is the central public park of Tirana, Albania. Built in 1950 during the communist era, it covers an area of 2.98 hectares (7.4 acres).

The European University of Tirana (Albanian: Universiteti Europian i Tiranës, UET) is an accredited private university in Tirana, Albania. It was established in 2006 by four PhD students (at the time): Adri Nurellari, Blendi Kajsiu, Ermal Hasimja, and Henri Çili, in collaboration with business manager Laert Duraj and journalist Robert Rakipllari.

The Great Mosque of Tirana (Xhamia e Madhe e Tiranës) or Namazgâh Mosque (Xhamia e Namazgjasë) is a mosque which is currently being built in Tirana, Albania. When completed, it will be the largest mosque in the Balkans.

The Academy of Sciences of Albania (Albanian: Akademia e Shkencave e Shqipërisë), founded in 1972, is the most important scientific institution in Albania. In the 1980s, several research institutes begun at the University of Tirana were transferred to the Academy's jurisdiction. The institution includes the most distinguished scientists, also called "academics", that are involved in research centers and other organisms inside and outside Albania.

Agon Channel is a former private television station from Tirana, Albania, founded on 5 April 2013 by Italian businessman Francesco Becchetti. Agon Channel launched in December 2014 on the Italian digital terrestrial television network with channel slot 33. Agon Channel Italia, a generalist channel, was a sister channel of the Albanian Agon Channel.

Hotel Dajti was a hotel near Rinia Park on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard in central Tirana, Albania. Carrying the name of nearby Dajti Mountain, it was the primary center for international visitors and diplomats during Albania's socialist period; the guest rooms were bugged with microphones, and there was a sub-basement floor for listening staff.

Bajram Curri Boulevard is a major boulevard of Tirana, Albania. It runs in a west–east direction and crosses the city centre south of the central Skanderbeg Square. At Rinia Park it intersects with Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard just south of the square. Towards the east it branches off into Ali Demi Street.

The General Directorate of Archives (Albanian: Drejtoria e Përgjithshme e Arkivave) is the national archive of the Republic of Albania, located in Tirana. Under the former control of the Party of Labour of Albania, the archives houses the papers of the former People's Socialist Republic of Albania, and papers that were held by citizens prior to the regime.

Zhan D'Ark Boulevard is a boulevard of Tirana, Albania. It runs along the north bank of the river Lanë. It was named after the French heroine Joan of Arc (French: Jeanne d'Arc). Until recently, it held the name Rruga Marsel Kashen in honor of the French politician Marcel Cachin. The boulevard, along with Bajram Curri Boulevard which runs parallel to it, underwent reconstruction in 2003.

The Ali Demi neighborhood (Albanian: Lagja e Ali Demit) is a neighborhood located in Tirana, Albania. It is named after Ali Demi, a World War II hero. The street with the same name is its main artery. The adjacent Mihal Grameno neighborhood is sometimes referred as part of the broader Ali Demi neighborhood.
