Sogang University (hangul: 서강대학교 hanja: 西江大學校, Literally "West River University") is one of the leading research and top liberal arts universities of South Korea. The university was established in 1960 by a branch of the Society of Jesus located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin to provide education based on Catholic beliefs inspired by the Jesuit education philosophy.

Hongik University, widely regarded as the best architecture and art school in South Korea, was founded by an independence activist in 1946. It is located in Mapo-gu district of central Seoul, South Korea with a second campus in Sejong. Hongik University has one of the most popular bachelor’s degree in art & design in South Korea.

Yeouido (Hangul: 여의도, English: Yoi Island or Yeoui Island) is a large island (or eyot) on the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. It is Seoul's main finance and investment banking district. Its 8.4 square kilometers are home to some 30,988 people. The island is located in the Yeongdeungpo-gu district of Seoul, and largely corresponds to the precinct of Yeouido-dong.

The Mapo Bridge crosses the Han River in South Korea and connects the Mapo District and the Yeongdeungpo District in the city of Seoul. The bridge was completed in 1970. Until 1984, the bridge was called Seoul Bridge.

Hongik University Station (Korean: 홍대입구역; Hanja: 弘大入口驛; RR: Hongdae-ipgu-yeok) is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 2 as well as the AREX and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. As its name indicates, it serves the nearby Hongik University. It was formerly known as Donggyo Station, after the neighborhood that it serves.

International Finance Centre Seoul(서울국제금융센터), commonly known IFC Seoul(아이 에프 시 서울), is a mixed-use integrated commercial development in Seoul, South Korea. It is located in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The IFC project is one of the first large-scale developments in Korea, led by an international consortium.

Hapjeong Station (Korean pronunciation: [hapt͈ɕʌŋ]) is a subterranean station of Seoul Subway Line 2 and Seoul Subway Line 6. The station is located just north of the Han River in Mapo-gu. The name of the subway station comes from its local name. The name of the area means clam well.The station is the southern end of Hongdae area, which is the mecca of urban arts and indie music culture of Seoul.

Gongdeok Station is a subway station on Seoul Subway Line 5, Line 6, AREX and the Gyeongui–Jungang Line.Gongdeok Market, near Exit 4 of the station, is on the Seoul list of Asia's 10 greatest street food cities for the haemul pajeon.

Sinchon Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 2 in Mapo-gu, north of the Han River. It is located between Hongik University Station and Ewha Womans University Station.It is the closest station to Sogang University, Yonsei University and Hyundai Department Store Sinchon. The area between this station and the front gate of Yonsei University is known simply as Sinchon-dong, and is a mecca of nightlife in Seoul, being packed with restaurants, pubs and bars that draw young adults from all over.

The Parc 1 Tower is a supertall skyscraper under construction in Seoul, South Korea. It will stand 334 metres (1,095 ft) and contain 72 floors. Construction stopped in 2011 but resumed in early 2017.Parc1 will be a US$1.5-billion shopping/hotel/office complex to be realized by Skylan Properties Korea Ltd., a foreign-invested property development and management services group with offices in Seoul, Beijing and Kuala Lumpur.
