Busch Gardens Williamsburg (formerly known as Busch Gardens Europe and Busch Gardens: The Old Country) is a 383-acre (1.55 km 2) theme park located in James City County, Virginia, United States. Located about sixty miles (100 km) northwest of Virginia Beach, the park was developed by Anheuser-Busch (AB) and is owned by SeaWorld Entertainment. It opened on May 16, 1975, adjacent to the Anheuser-Busch brewery and close to its other developments, including the Kingsmill Resort complex. There are attractions for all tastes, and all ages, at any level of adrenaline, included in the water. Bars, restaurants, shows even a train for those who do not want to walk from one place to another inside the enclosure. There are wolves, eagles, deer and even sheep.
