Took a lovely scenic walk today with my dog Sasha. I needed some exercise and peace of mind in my life. Charleswood is the best area to get that, because of all the scenic views, nature, trees everywhere and the trails you can walk. There’s many. Even see deer along the way. 🦌🦌🦌🌳🌲🌳🌲 We started off from home walking down Roblin Blvd to Scottswood Drive walking all the way down to the end till we hit the Trail. Walked the trail for over an hour. We did walk off trail (dirt path/easy to walk) a bit and saw some deer along the way, then walked back towards the trail. Kept on the trail heading north until we hit Elmhurst (walking off the trail) walked it till we hit Grant Ave. Very hot & windy day. So it was nice to walk out into the open air for some coolness from the wind. The trail kept the wind off during the walk, but not the heat. Best to walk it on not such a humid day. Lesson learned. Still it was a lovely walk. We saw a butterfly pass us by and got it on video. The trail is great for cyclists as well as walkers. Especially dogs. Sasha loves walking the trail. It’s now become part of my favourite walk. If I want a nice long walk I try to make it a part of it somehow. So worth it. Peaceful. Total walk took us 3 hours. We did stop off at a Pet Value along the way heading home. They offered Sasha some water to drink. So nice of them. They’re right off of Grant Ave. You’ll pass it on the way heading south towards Roblin Blvd it’s in The Charleswood Centre just off of Grant Ave. It was an absolutely beautiful walk to end the day! ❤️☀️🐕🏃🏼‍♀️🌻
