Montreal

The Old Port of Montreal (French: Vieux-Port de Montréal) is the historic port of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Located in Old Montreal, it stretches for over 2 km (1.2 mi) along the Saint Lawrence River. It was used as early as 1611, when French fur traders used it as a trading post.In 1976, Montreal's Port activities were moved east to the present Port of Montreal in the borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve.

The Jacques Cartier Bridge (French: pont Jacques-Cartier) is a steel truss cantilever bridge crossing the Saint Lawrence River from Montreal Island, Montreal, Quebec to the south shore at Longueuil, Quebec, Canada. The bridge crosses Île Sainte-Hélène in the centre of the river, where offramps allow access to the Parc Jean-Drapeau and La Ronde amusement park.

Bonsecours Market (French: Marché Bonsecours), at 350 rue Saint-Paul in Old Montreal, is a two-story domed public market. For more than 100 years, it was the main public market in the Montreal area. It also briefly accommodated the Parliament of United Canada for one session in 1849.Named for the adjacent Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel, it opened in 1847.

The Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel (chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours, "Our Lady of Good Help") is a church in the district of Old Montreal in Montreal, Quebec. One of the oldest churches in Montreal, it was built in 1771 over the ruins of an earlier chapel. The church is located at 400 Saint Paul Street East at Bonsecours Street, just north of the Bonsecours Market in the borough of Ville-Marie (Champ-de-Mars metro station).

The Centre-Sud neighbourhood is located at the eastern most edge of the Ville-Marie borough of the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The neighbourhood is bordered by the Saint Lawrence River to the south, Saint Hubert Street to the west, the Canadian Pacific rail line to the east and Sherbrooke Street to the north.

The John Young Monument is a monument of Canadian politician John Young by sculptor Louis-Philippe Hébert. It is located at the Old Port of Montreal, where Young was the first Chairman of the Port Commission.

The Concordia Bridge (Pont de la Concorde) carries Avenue Pierre-Dupuy across the St. Lawrence River between Cité du Havre, Montreal, and Parc Jean-Drapeau on Saint Helen's Island. A majority of its traffic is motorists driving to the Montreal Casino on Île Notre-Dame, continuing on Pierre Dupuy Avenue across Pont des Îles.

Auberge Le Saint-Gabriel (Auberge Saint-Gabriel) is located in Old Montreal, Canada, and was the first establishment to have an alcohol license issued in 1754 as stated by Lesley Chesterman from the Gazette Montreal “...granted the first liquor licence under British rule”(Lesley Chesterman). Established in 1754 this historic landmark still stands to this day as a tourist destination updated with a refined French cuisine restaurant.

The Church of St. Peter the Apostle (French: Église Saint-Pierre-Apôtre) is a Canadian Roman Catholic parish church, located between Boulevard René Lévesque and Rue Sainte-Catherine East, in the Village neighborhood of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It has been designated a Historic Place of Canada.

Dalhousie Station (French: gare Dalhousie) is a former railway station in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Built in 1884, the building stands at the corner of Notre-Dame Street and Berri Street in what is now Old Montreal. The oldest surviving railway station building in Montreal, Dalhousie Station was named after George Ramsay, 9th Earl of Dalhousie, who was Governor General of Canada from 1825 to 1828.
