Start your journey at the Telford lake pier, walk left or right down the boardwalk and enjoy the lake sights including water fowl and pelicans! The boat club does dragon racing here, so you can often see teams practicing. On this beautiful walk, you will come across a playground, a historic plane crash, with boards up honouring the fallen. There is great wooded areas to walk through followed by beautiful lake scenery. Walk the bridge at the halfway point and look down the entire length of the lake. Coming back, you get to enjoy gorgeous grassland sites and several look out points right on the lake. Several benches are a welcome site on this leg of the walk. The path verges off into different legs here, keep right and you’ll go past gardens, go left and you’ll walk past the off leash dog park and Rotary peace park. Staying right on this path you’ll come across the pollinator garden that has several fruit trees and bushes, and then the community gardens. You can see the hard work community members put into their vegetable garden! Continue your walk to see the boat club and beautiful flower beds. Soon the path takes you back into the board walk to where you started your trek! Congrats!
