Der Weg führt vom Richard Wagner-Museum dem Seeufer entlang nach Luzern City. Ab Dreilinden geht es relativ steil aufwärts zum Schlössli Utenberg und dann zum Dietschiberg. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Die ländliche Gegend lädt zum Verweilen in einem der Restaurants ein. Vom Dietschiberg geht’s dann dem Höhenweg nach Adligenswil entlang. Dort folgt man dem Rontalerhöhenweg bis zum Landgut Unterlöchli. Dort nimmt man den Bus oder geht zu Fuss zurück nach Luzern.

Lion Monument

The Lion Monument (German: Löwendenkmal), or the Lion of Lucerne, is a rock relief in Lucerne, Switzerland, designed by Bertel Thorvaldsen and hewn in 1820–21 by Lukas Ahorn. It commemorates the Swiss Guards who were massacred in 1792 during the French Revolution, when revolutionaries stormed the Tuileries Palace in Paris.
