It was almost all natural path from MacRitchie till the split route to Bukit Timah Natural Reserve(BTNR). Raffles range link is all tar round and the rout that lead to the beginning of the BTNR is under some construction. Hence, I end up in BT food center. Kind of disappointing

MacRitchie Reservoir

MacRitchie Reservoir is Singapore's oldest reservoir. The reservoir was completed in 1868 by impounding water from an earth embankment, and was then known as the Impounding Reservoir or Thomson Reservoir.
