It runs northeasterly from Public Square in Downtown Cleveland, through the cities of East Cleveland, Euclid and Wickliffe, to the suburb of Willoughby as a part of U.S. Route 20 and U.S. Route 6. The street passes Playhouse Square, University Circle, Cleveland State University, the Cleveland Clinic, Severance Hall, Case Western Reserve University’s Maltz Performing Arts Center (formerly The Temple Tifereth Israel ), Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Case Medical Center.

Elysium Arena was an indoor arena in Cleveland, Ohio. It hosted the American Hockey League's Cleveland Falcons from 1936 to 1937. The arena held 2,000 people and opened in 1907. It was superseded in 1938 by the Cleveland Arena, and in 1951 was demolished by the city of Cleveland.

It is located just down the block from the Cleveland Clinic as well as Case Western Reserve University on Euclid Avenue and seeks to house those working at these two institutions. Being constructed on the former location of the Children's Museum of Cleveland, the project is the first high-rise apartment building completed in the city in over 40 years.
