Ghana Takoradi

The Ghana Secondary Technical School is a Science and Technology oriented high school located in Takoradi on the west coast of Ghana. It is the third oldest high school in Ghana - the oldest 'non-missionary' high school. The school was founded on 9 August 1909 in Accra as Accra Technical School, and, after the name had been changed to Government Technical School, it moved to its current site in Takoradi in 1939.

New Takoradi is a town in the Western region of Ghana. It is 3 kilometres from the centre Takoradi the Western regional capital. The serves both as a dormitory town as well as an industrialized zone.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Sekondi–Takoradi (Latin: Sekondien(sis)–Takoradien(sis)) is a diocese located in the city of Sekondi-Takoradi in the Ecclesiastical province of Cape Coast in Ghana.
