Villefranche Sur mer road circuit

The Grotte du Lazaret (English: Cave of Le Lazaret) is an archaeological cave site of prehistoric human occupation study, situated in the eastern suburbs of the French town of Nice, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.Results of excavations have been interpreted as to account for the construction of shelters by humans during the Lower Paleolithic period.

Terra Amata (Italian for "Beloved Land") is an archaeological site in open air located on the slopes of Mount Boron in Nice, at a level 26 meters (85 ft) above the current sea level of the Mediterranean. It was discovered and excavated in 1966 by Henry de Lumley. The site, originally on a prehistoric beach, contained tools of the Lower Paleolithic period, dated to about 400,000 BCE, as well as traces of some of the earliest domestication of fire in Europe.

The Observatoire Oceanologique de Villefranche (Villefranche-sur-Mer Marine Station) is a field campus of the Université Paris 6 in Villefranche-sur-Mer on the Côte d'Azur, France. It houses two research/teaching laboratories co-administered by the University of Paris 6 (Université Pierre et Marie Curie) and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique.

Villa Beau Site is a historic mansion in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France. It was built from 1885 to 1890, and it was designed by architect Sébastien-Marcel Biasini. It has been listed as an official national monument since July 27, 1987.
