Columbia Trail

Long Valley is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Washington Township, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. Also known as German Valley from its foundation during the colonial era, the community was renamed in response to anti-German sentiment during World War I.

The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 14, 1983 for its significance in agriculture, education, transportation, industry, and religion.

The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 3, 2015. The district includes the Mount Olive Baptist Church and Schoolhouse.

West Morris Central High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey, United States, where the school is located, operating as part of the West Morris Regional High School District. The school has a Chester Township mailing address.

The West Morris Regional High School District is a limited purpose regional public high school district in New Jersey that serves students from the surrounding Morris County communities of Chester Borough, Chester Township, Mendham Borough, Mendham Township and Washington Township. Elementary school students of the constituent municipalities attend separate K-8 school districts maintained by four of the five municipalities; Chester Borough and Chester Township schools are consolidated under the Chester Township Public School District and the remaining three municipalities each have their own districts (Mendham Borough Schools, Mendham Township Public Schools and Washington Township Schools).
