Spokane River

Riverfront Park is a public park in the northwest United States, in downtown Spokane, Washington. The one-hundred-acre (40 ha) park is located along the Spokane River containing the upper Spokane Falls and just upstream from the lower falls.It was created 45 years ago for Expo '74, a World's Fair event.

The Riverfront Park Carrousel, also known as the Looff Carrousel and the Natatorium Park carousel, is a carousel in Spokane, Washington, built in 1909 by Charles I. D. Looff as a gift for Looff's daughter Emma Vogel and her husband Louis Vogel, who owned Natatorium Park in Spokane. It remained at the park until 1968 when the park closed.

The Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine is a public medical school headquartered in Spokane, Washington. Founded in 2015, it is part of Washington State University, and is the second public medical school in the state of Washington. It welcomed its inaugural class in the fall of 2017, joining the University of Washington and Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences as one of three medical schools in the state.

The First Interstate Center for the Arts is a 2,700-seat theater and entertainment venue in Spokane, Washington. It is located in Downtown Spokane along the south bank of the Spokane River adjacent to the Spokane Convention Center. The facility is owned and operated by the Spokane Public Facilities District.

The Division Street Bridge in Spokane, Washington, also known as the Senator Sam C. Guess memorial bridge, is a 600-foot concrete span that crosses the Spokane River just north of Spokane's downtown area and a half-mile east (upstream) of Spokane Falls. Approximately 270 feet of the span is over water.

Hoopfest is an annual outdoor 3-on-3 basketball tournament held in downtown Spokane, Washington.It is the largest event of its kind in the world, as it drew 27,876 players on 7,046 teams in 2011. It began in 1989 with 2,009 players on 512 teams, and has grown to over 6,700 participant teams. It is estimated that around 175,000 fans visited the event in both 2010 and 2011 (and likely for many years before, although estimates had not been observed for previous years), meaning that the total number of people at Hoopfest could be measured at around 200,000 including players, fans, and volunteers.

Spokane Convention Center is the primary convention center in Spokane, Washington, in the northwest United States, and consists of two interconnected buildings along the south bank of the Spokane River in downtown Spokane. The facility, owned and operated by the Spokane Public Facilities District, is part of a larger campus, historically referred to as Spokane Center, that also contains the adjacent First Interstate Center for the Arts.

Riverpoint Campus is an educational facility located near downtown Spokane, Washington in the United States. The campus houses facilities of five institutions: the Washington State University Spokane (WSU Spokane), Eastern Washington University, extensions of the medical and dental schools at the University of Washington, and Sirti.

Washington State University Health Sciences Spokane (WSU Spokane) is a campus of Washington State University, a land-grant research university founded in Pullman, Washington in 1890. WSU Spokane is the designated health sciences campus for Washington State University and is located on 48 acres on the edge of downtown Spokane, Washington.

The Washington State University College of Nursing is a nursing school affiliated with Washington State University. Its main location is on the Washington State University Health Sciences campus in Spokane, Washington, with programs also offered at WSU Vancouver, WSU Tri-Cities, and in Yakima, Washington.
