Kedleston hall walk

Kedleston Hall is an English country house in Kedleston, Derbyshire, approximately four miles north-west of Derby, and is the seat of the Curzon family. Today it is a National Trust property.The Curzon family, whose name originates in Notre-Dame-de-Courson in Normandy, have owned the estate at Kedleston since at least 1297 and have lived in a succession of manor houses near to or on the site of the present Kedleston Hall.

Kedleston is a village and civil parish in the Amber Valley district of Derbyshire. It lies to the north-west of Derby, and nearby places include Quarndon, Weston Underwood, Mugginton, and Kirk Langley. The population at the 2011 Census was less than 100. All Saints' Church, Kedleston, is a redundant Anglican church standing adjacent to Kedleston Hall, a country house in Derbyshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. Kedleston Hall is owned by the National Trust, and the church is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
