The Hallenstadion (German: Zürcher Hallenstadion, Zürich Indoor Stadium) is a multi-purpose facility located in the quarter of Oerlikon in northern Zürich. It is home to the ZSC Lions of the National League (NL) and has a capacity of 11,200 spectators. Designed by Bruno Giacometti, it opened on November 4, 1939, and was renovated in 2004–05.

Kloten is a municipality in the district of Bülach in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland, and belongs to the Glatt Valley (German: Glatttal).

Glattpark is a large construction project in Switzerland that is taking shape in Opfikon, close to the border to Zürich. As part of the construction project a new neighbourhood will be built by 2020; it is designed to provide room for 7,000 residents and about the same number of jobs.Some of the favourable locational factors used to market the area are the direct proximity to the city of Zürich, where similar construction projects are being realized in Oerlikon and Seebach.

Oerlikon Velodrome is an uncovered velodrome in the Oerlikon district of Zürich, Switzerland. It was built in 1912. The track is 333 m in length and is made of concrete. The velodrome holds 3000 spectators. It held the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in 1923, 1929, 1936, 1946, 1953, 1961 and 1983.

Kloten Balsberg is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Zürich and municipality of Kloten. The station is located on the Zürich–Winterthur railway line and is an interchange point between the Zürich S-Bahn and the Stadtbahn Glattal light rail system. The station is served by S-Bahn line S7, and by Zürich tram routes 10 and 12, operating on behalf of the Stadtbahn Glattal.

Bassersdorf is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Zurich and the municipality of Bassersdorf. The station is located on the Zurich to Winterthur main line, to the east of where the Zürich Airport and Kloten lines diverge. It is an intermediate stop on the Zurich S-Bahn services S7 and S24.The original route of the railway was through the centre of Bassersdorf.

Dietlikon is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Zürich and municipality of Dietlikon. The station is located on the Zürich to Winterthur railway line, and is served by Zurich S-Bahn lines S3, S8 and S19.
