You could stay around the core of the park with its playgrounds, gym, cricket pitch, tennis courts, mansion house 🏠 and lake, or you could widen and lengthen your walk and scour the edges where you would pass much of the above but also pass open fields, woodland trees and a few secluded areas! Valentines Park

Valentines Park is, at 52 hectares (130 acres), the largest green space in the London Borough of Redbridge, situated between Ilford Town Centre and Gants Hill. The district is also eponymous to Valentines District, Ilford. Valentines Park was acquired in various purchases and gifts of land, starting in 1898 and culminating in the 1920s.

The name has its earliest use in 1233 as Cranebroc. Moreover, it is named for a tributary of the River Roding, the Cran Brook.

St Clement's Church, Ilford

St Clement's Church, Ilford was a Church of England church on Park Avenue in Ilford in the London Borough of Redbridge. It was built between 1889 and 1896. The land for the building was donated by Mrs Clement Ingleby of Valentines and the building designed by Cutts Brothers. Initially a chapel of ease to St Mary's Church, Ilford, it replaced it as the parish's main church in 1902.
