This is a nice walk if you like looking at boats and beach. This was a short walk. We could have gone all the way to Presque isle Beach Lake Erie

The tower was built to signify the city's bicentennial year 1996. It is 187 feet (57 m) tall and has 2 observation decks. It's located at the end of State Street on Dobbins Landing.

Erie Maritime Museum is a maritime museum located on Presque Isle Bay which rests on the waterfront in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania. It is managed by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC). When it opened its doors on May 21, 1998, it became the first new Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission-affiliated museum in twenty years.

Dickson Tavern

The Dickson Tavern, or the Perry Memorial House, is the oldest building in the city of Erie in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Located at the corner of 2nd and French Streets in downtown Erie, the structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. The three-story Federal and Greek Revival-style building was constructed in 1815 by William Himrod and owned by John Dickson.

Chandlery Corner consists of three historic buildings located at Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania. They are the Peter Rockwell House, Frederick Schneider House, and Schneider/Kessler Chandlery. The Peter Rockwell House was built in 1832, as a Federal-style brick townhouse. It was modified for commercial use about 1865 to be a 2 1/2-story commercial building with a mansard roof.

The original section of the 2 1/2-story, brick mansion was built between 1846 and 1849. It was expanded with a one-story bay about 1855, a two-story bay about 1865, and a two-story extension in 1970.

The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 13, 1972, and its boundary was increased on March 9, 1983.
