Portugalete to Bilbao

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is a museum of modern and contemporary art designed by Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry, and located in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain. The museum was inaugurated on 18 October 1997 by King Juan Carlos I of Spain. Built alongside the Nervion River, which runs through the city of Bilbao to the Cantabrian Sea, it is one of several museums belonging to the Solomon R.

The Plaza Nueva or Plaza Barria (New Square) of Bilbao is a monumental square of Neoclassical style built in 1821. Its name comes from the previously existing Plaza Vieja or Old Square in the place where the Ribera Market was built. The square is enclosed by arcaded buildings and accessed by arches known as cuevas (caves).

The Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hall (Palacio Euskalduna, in Spanish),(Euskalduna Jauregia, in Basque) is located in the city of Bilbao, in the Basque Country (Spain), beside the Estuary of Bilbao, built in part of the area that was formerly occupied by the Euskalduna shipyards.It was designed by architects Federico Soriano and Dolores Palacios and construction started in 1994.

The Isozaki Atea (Basque: Isozaki Gate) twin towers in Bilbao, Spain are the tallest residential buildings in the city and the Basque Country, designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki. The towers are 83 metres (272 ft) tall and have 23 floors. The first two floors are used for mixed-commercial purposes, and the remaining floors are residential.

The Circuito Urbano Bilbao is a street circuit in Bilbao, Spain. It was used only once in July 2005 for an event of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 championships.

The Basque Center of Applied Mathematics (BCAM) is a research center on applied mathematics, created with the support of the Basque Government and the University of the Basque Country. The BCAM headquarters are in Alda. Mazarredo, 14 in Bilbao, the capital of the province of Biscay in the Basque Country of northern Spain.

The City Hall of the borough of Bilbao, Spain, is located on the right bank of the Estuary of Bilbao across the Puente del Ayuntamiento bascule bridge that links it to the central Abando district.The building was built in 1892 by Joaquín Rucoba, on the former site of a convent in the district of Uribarri.

Basurto-Zorroza (or Basurtu-Zorrotza) is the eighth district of the city of Bilbao (Biscay), in the Spanish Basque Country. It is divided into the neighbourhoods of Altamira, Basurto, Olabeaga, Masustegui-Monte Caramelo and Zorrotza.It is separated from Barakaldo by the river Kadagua.Its area is 7.09 square kilometers and has a population of 31,672 inhabitants.

Abatxolo is a station of the Line 2 of Metro Bilbao. It is located in the neighborhood of Azeta, between the municipalities of Portugalete and Sestao, in the Greater Bilbao area. The station before is Portugalete and the station after is Sestao. The station was opened on January 20, 2007. It is an underground station and its fare zone is B2.

Zazpikaleak/Casco Viejo (Basque for Seven Streets and Spanish for Old Town) is a railway station in Bilbao, Basque Country (Spain). It is located in the historical neighbourhood of Casco Viejo, in the district of Ibaiondo. It connects the rapid transit network of Metro Bilbao with the commuter rail services of Euskotren Trena.
