Braintree Split

The Braintree Split is the major interchange of Interstate 93 (I-93), U.S. Route 1 (US 1), and Route 3 in the South Shore of Massachusetts, on the city line between Braintree and Quincy. Traveling northbound, the routes merge into a three-way concurrency towards Boston. Traveling southbound, they divide into the concurrent I-93 and US 1 towards southeastern Massachusetts, and Route 3 towards Cape Cod.

The Reay E. Sterling Middle School, formerly the South Junior High School, is a historic school building at 444 Granite Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. It is part of the Quincy Public Schools. The Classical Revival style building was designed by Shephard & Stearns, and built in 1927. Of three junior high schools built by the city in the 1920s, it is the best preserved.

The 1-1/2 story Cape style house was built c. 1820 by Solomon Nightengale, whose family had owned the land since the 18th century. It had a four-bay facade, with a central chimney and a sheltered entry in the center-left bay.

The House at 23–25 Prout Street in Quincy, Massachusetts, is a well-preserved local example of worker housing for people employed in the local granite industry. A fine example of a "Quincy Cottage", it is a 1-1/2 story wood frame structure with clapboard siding and a side gable roof. It has a projecting gabled entrance vestibule, and twin shed-roof wall dormers, both of which are detailed with decorative wooden shingles.
