63 Building

The 63 Building (Korean: 63 빌딩 or 육삼 빌딩), officially called 63 SQUARE (formerly Hanwha 63 City), is a skyscraper on Yeouido island, overlooking the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. It was designed by Harry D Som and Helen W Som, principals of Som and Associates of San Francisco. (The building has been falsely attributed to the SOM design firm, which is inaccurate.) At 250 meters (819 ft) high, it was the tallest building outside North America when it opened in July 1985, and remains the tallest gold-clad structure in the world.

Banpo Bridge

The bridge is on top of Jamsu Bridge, forming the upper half of a double-deck bridge; it is the first double deck bridge built in South Korea.

The bridge carries eight lanes of traffic.The Korea Meteorological Administration considers the Han to be frozen over when the 100-meter section of water between the second and fourth posts of the southern span freezes.

The uninhabited islets, with a total area of 241,000 m2 (2,594,102 sq ft)and length of 1,147 m (3,763 ft), are located between the larger island of Yeouido, to which they were once connected, and the north shore. They remain connected to one another by a narrow strip of sedimentary silt.

Jamsu Bridge

The Jamsu Bridge crosses the Han River in South Korea and connects the districts of Yongsan-gu and Seocho-gu. The bridge was completed in 1976, and lies just meters above the waterline, allowing the bridge to submerge during periods of high rainfall. In 1982, Banpo Bridge was built on top of the Jamsu Bridge, creating a two-deck bridge.

Hannam station

Hannam Station is a station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. It is located on the northwestern end of the Hannam Bridge, overlooking the Han River. It was also called Dankook University Station until 2007, when Dankook University moved the majority of its campus to the suburban city of Yongin.The neighborhood of Hannam-dong is home to various nations' embassies in Korea, and many can be accessed from this station, with the closest being the embassy of Slovakia.
