Balbriggan (; Irish: Baile Brigín) is a town in the northern part of Fingal, Ireland. The 2016 census population was 21,722 for Balbriggan and its environs.

Balbriggan railway station (Irish: Stáisiún Baile Brigín) serves Balbriggan in County Dublin.It is the northern limit of the Dublin suburban rail network and the short hop zone. Due to a growing population, planning permission has been submitted to increase the capacity of the station.

Balscaddan (Irish: Baile na Scadán, meaning "the town of the Herrings", also spelt Balscadden) is a village, a townland and a civil parish in Fingal, Ireland. It is the most northerly village of Dublin, approx 5km north of Balbriggan and close to the Meath border. The townland has a population of under 700 people, and the area is completely rural in character, although close to the expanding Balbriggan.
