Blackrock (Irish: An Charraig Dhubh) is a suburb of Dublin, Ireland, 3 km (1.9 mi) northwest of Dún Laoghaire.

Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann (Irish pronunciation: [ˈkɔwal̪ˠt̪ˠəsˠ ˈcoːl̪ˠt̪ˠoːɾʲiː ˈeːɾʲən̪ˠ]; meaning "Society of the Musicians of Ireland") is the primary Irish organisation dedicated to the promotion of the music, song, dance and the language of Ireland. The organisation was founded in 1951 and has promoted Irish music and culture among the Irish people and the Irish diaspora.

Seapoint (Irish: Rinn na Mara) is a small seafront area between Blackrock and Monkstown in Dublin in the Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown area. It is best known for its beach and bathing areas, beside a Martello Tower on the Dublin Bay seashore. The beach currently has an International Blue flag award and a national Green flag award.

Blackrock Further Education Institute (BFEI; formerly Senior College Dún Laoghaire) is a college of further education in Dublin which was established in 1982. In 2015 it moved to Blackrock in a redeveloped Town Hall, Technical College and Carnegie Library. It provides both higher educational qualifications (BTEC Higher National Diploma) as well as technical/vocational education and training in areas including Beauty Therapy, Creative Multimedia, Marketing, Auctioneering and Estate Agency Practice, Accountancy and Design.

Heron and Grey was a restaurant in Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland. It is a fine dining restaurant that is awarded one Michelin star for 2017 and 2018.The head chef is Damien Grey while Andrew Heron runs the restaurant. They own the restaurant together.

The Friends Burial Ground (Irish: Reilig Chumann na gCairde), also called Temple Hill Burial Ground or the Friends Sleeping Place is a Quaker burial ground located at Temple Hill, Blackrock, Dublin. It opened in 1860 and is one of only two Quaker burial grounds in Dublin; the other being at Cork Street.

St. John the Baptist, Blackrock is a Roman Catholic church in the parish of Blackrock, Ireland. The church is still in use and named after the Saint John the Baptist. It is located on Temple Road, Blackrock, County Dublin.
