King Edward (VII) Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College (Marathi: Rājā Êḍvarḍ (Sātavē) Smārak Rugṇālaya Va Sēṭh Gōvardhandās Sundaradās Vaidyakīya Mahāvidyālaya), located in Mumbai, is amongst the foremost teaching and medical care providing institutions in India. It was founded in 1926, and is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik.

On 29 September 2017, a stampede broke out at the sub-urban Elphinstone Road railway station (now officially known as Prabhadevi) in Mumbai, India. At least 23 people were killed and 39 others were injured in the stampede. The incident took place between the Parel railway station and Elphinstone road railway station.
