The Château de Vincennes is a massive 14th and 17th century French royal fortress in the town of Vincennes, to the east of Paris, now a suburb of the metropolis.

The Bois de Vincennes (French pronunciation: ​[bwɑ.d(ə).vɛ̃.sɛn]), located on the eastern edge of Paris, is the largest public park in the city. It was created between 1855 and 1866 by the Emperor Napoleon III.The park is next to the Château de Vincennes, a former residence of the Kings of France. It contains an English landscape garden with four lakes; a zoo; an arboretum; a botanical garden; a hippodrome or horse-racing track; a velodrome for bicycle races; and the campus of the French national institute of sports and physical education.

Château de Vincennes is a station of the Paris Métro. It is the eastern terminus of line 1 and serves the Château de Vincennes. It lies on the border between the commune of Vincennes and the Bois de Vincennes, which is part of the 12th arrondissement of Paris.

The Fort Neuf de Vincennes ("New Vincennes Fort") is a fortification built on the grounds of the Château de Vincennes, on the east side of Paris. While the old chateau had been a significant fortification in its time, by 1840 there was a need for a modern fort at that location, capable of using and defending itself against artillery fire.

It is named after the nearby Place Bérault, which honors a former deputy mayor of Vincennes (1796–1871). It also evokes the name of Bérault Stuart d'Aubigny, a captain of the guard at the Chateau de Vincennes c.

Bégin Military Teaching Hospital (French: Hôpital d'instruction des armées Bégin) is a military hospital at 69, avenue de Paris, in Saint-Mandé in the Val-de-Marne, near Paris. It is named after Louis Jacques Bégin, military surgeon of the French Empire.
