Newton Abbot is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since its 2010 creation by Anne-Marie Morris. In each election Morris was elected as a Conservative. Morris was suspended from her party on 10 July 2017 after making a racist comment in public, and sat as an Independent MP until the Conservative Party whip was restored to Morris on 12 December 2017.
